[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_ff_title el_type=”h1″ align=”left” title=”ICD-10 Webinar Recap & Guide”][vc_column_text]ICD-10 Webinar Recap 102616-1Over the past few months we have been providing details regarding the most recent upgrade for ICD-10 coding. With the upgrade to the full ICD-10 code set complete and the new requirements for coding officially active, there were several changes to how coding is handled within the software. Due to the numerous requests for assistance, FoxFire hosted a series of webinars addressing the changes and how to successfully code moving forward.

If you are not aware of some of these changes, or would like a quick refresher, check out our breakdown from last month.

For those of you who did not, or were not able to attend, we’ve compiled a guide based on the webinar for your review. In the guide you will find instructions for the following:

  • Customizing Slit Lamp and Fundus Screens: Adding Diagnosis Codes to Conditions
  • Updating Assessment Screen: Adding Additional Diagnoses
  • Updating Astigmatism: Adding Regular and Irregular Codes
  • Pulling ICD-10 codes into FoxFire Optical/FoxFire Practice Management

You can find the guide to your right or below in our tips and tricks. As always, we highly suggest that all our clients take advantage of the webinar trainings that we make available. Not only does it provide direct training from our staff but it allows you to interact with other clients and engage in question and answer sessions. If you still find yourself having difficulties, reach out to Customer Service to request a copy of the full webinar.[/vc_column_text][vc_divider show_line=”yes” space_above=”0″ space_below=”0″ el_class=”divider_line”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_ff_title el_type=”h1″ align=”left” title=”Clients Being Contacted by SolutionReach”][vc_column_text]It has been brought to our attention that several clients have recently been contacted by SolutionReach. In an attempt to gain new clients, SolutionReach has incorrectly stated that there is an available integration to FoxFire Practice Management software. Please be aware, should you receive any communication from them, that FoxFire only offers integration to our PM through 4PatientCare. Any statements made by SolutionReach that indicate otherwise are misleading you and are inaccurate.

FoxFire has attempted, on multiple occasions, to cease these communications towards our clients but they continue to pursue you. We apologize if you are contacted moving forward and hope this warning will prevent anyone from being misled.

If you are interested in any type of patient engagement software, we highly encourage you to check out the multitude of tools 4PatientCare provides. Their software is capable of boosting patient count, reducing no-show rates, increasing online visibility, receiving patient feedback and more.

Check out this demo directly from 4PatientCare to learn more about what they can provide.

As we outlined in last month’s newsletter, the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) was signed and put into effect significant changes on how Medicare pays those who care for Medicare beneficiaries. With the final rule recently issued on November 1, we want to ensure that you are prepared for how these new rules will impact your practice moving forward.

If you have not done so already, please read through the MACRA/MIPS details we provided or checkout the guide from CMS.

Once the final rule is digested and broken down into confirmed applicable action, FoxFire will be providing instructions and information so that our clients are prepared. Please stay tuned for more information and keep this news at the forefront of your practice planning for 2017.[/vc_column_text][vc_divider show_line=”yes” space_above=”0″ space_below=”0″ el_class=”divider_line”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_ff_title el_type=”h1″ align=”left” title=”Thanksgiving Hours”][vc_column_text]FoxFire Systems Group will be closed on Thursday, November 24, 2016 in celebration of Thanksgiving. We will open again at 7:00 AM CDT on Friday.
