Two weeks ago, FoxFire had the privilege of hosting over 75 clients in downtown Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the home of FoxFire Systems Group. Doctors and staff members from practices across the United States traveled here for the exclusive opportunity for hands-on trainings, educational presentations and networking with other FoxFire clients and the FoxFire team.
Each year, to prep for the meeting, FoxFire spends weeks and even months evaluating upcoming changes, new product features, current software usage and more to select a unique and exclusive lineup of content that will offer clients the most takeaway from the event. Last year, the meeting focused primarily on the transition to EyeMD EMR and all that it could offer. Now that the transition is complete, this year the focus shifted to the launch of the highly anticipated FoxFire Practice Management 4.0. Complemented with a host of EyeMD EMR sessions and a series of presentations from two of our valued partners, this year’s meeting provided a whole practice approach, hoping to improve client operations from top to bottom.
With a solid two days complete and a host of satisfied clients, the 2016 User Group Meeting was another success for the books![/vc_column_text][vc_divider show_line=”yes” space_above=”0″ space_below=”0″ el_class=”divider_line”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_ff_title el_type=”h1″ align=”left” title=”FoxFire Practice Management 4.0 is Here”][vc_column_text]It’s here: FoxFire Practice Management 4.0 is here.
FoxFire Systems Group was excited to announce that the 2016 User Group Meeting would be the official launch of FoxFire Practice Management 4.0. Our team has dedicated an immense amount of time to developing and perfecting the practice management software that our clients need and deserve. A total overhaul of the current PM software, FoxFire developed a comprehensive but easy-to-use system that covers the entire patient process. The most innovative and feature-rich software on the market, FoxFire is eager to move forward with PM 4.0 and see how it will positively impact our clients’ operations.
Kicking off the weekend’s events, our Development Manager, Art Schott, demo’d the entire PM system to all our doctors, technicians and staff to highlight how much this new upgrade will impact the practice. We continued with the PM focus throughout day two, offering staff members nearly five hours of specific, hands-on training in the software to get them set up for success. Accessing the database from the event, clients worked through adding and scheduling a patient to ensure they have a solid understanding of how they will utilize the software moving forward. The sessions also offered designated time for questions and feedback to give attendees the opportunity to personally invest in the product.
Moving forward, the FoxFire team is working tirelessly to launch the new PM 4.0 for all our clients, starting with those who attended the User Group Meeting. Additional training and assistance will be provided, especially for those staff members that were unable to attend. After all this time and hard work, we are excited for FoxFire PM 4.0 to finally be here and look forward to continuing to help our clients’ practices improve.
Get ready to go live![/vc_column_text][vc_divider show_line=”yes” space_above=”0″ space_below=”0″ el_class=”divider_line”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_ff_title el_type=”h1″ align=”left” title=”Valued Partner Interfaces Helping to Expand Client Success”][vc_column_text]FoxFire Systems Group has developed close partnerships with industry leading companies in order to expand and strengthen our products. We analyzed areas in which FoxFire could improve or expand upon in order to identify and develop partnerships that our clients would greatly benefit from. Those who attended this year’s User Group Meeting got a first-hand look into these partners’ interfaces and how they work seamlessly with FoxFire software to increase profits and improve practice operations.
The two primary interfaces highlighted at this year’s meeting involved 4PatientCare and CLX. 4PatientCare offers automated tools for recall and practice marketing. CLX is an automated tool for managing contact lens ordering. FoxFire offers these interfaces directly in our software, meaning no need for third party vendors or navigating away to outside windows. While there are additional costs associated with utilizing these interfaces, both partners have clearly demonstrated a significant return-on-investment that justifies the added expense.
Looking to the future, FoxFire will continue to work with industry leaders to capitalize on opportunities that will benefit our clients. FoxFire is pleased to announce a new integration that will be developed with Gateway Professional Network’s new program the EDGE. The EDGE is an analysis program that gives instant access to practice data in meaningful, organized reports to help practices drill down and find opportunities to improve their bottom line.
Keep an eye out as we will continue to share opportunities and updates regarding all our valued partners.[/vc_column_text][vc_divider show_line=”yes” space_above=”0″ space_below=”0″ el_class=”divider_line”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_ff_title el_type=”h1″ align=”left” title=”Tips & Tricks You May Have Missed”][vc_column_text]Did you know?
E-Prescribing Outside of an Exam
Using EyeMD EMR, providers have the ability to prescribe medications to their patients without opening a chart. The system allows you to bypass the process of opening a chart and to access the e-prescribing and medications. Medications that are electronically prescribed using this method are recorded in the patient’s history and are added as current medications in future exams.
1. Click on the Visit History button in the patients chart.
2. From the Visit History window, select the tab labeled Rx Medication History.
3. This window displays all medication history for the patient. Click on the Write Called In E-Rx / Send Pending E-Rx.
4. New Crop will open and allow you to search for, select and specify the drug you are prescribing.
