Plains Area Mental Health Center, Inc. has been utilizing the Mends-ICF Practice Management System since June 1, 1999. The system is a versatile practice management program and does an excellent job of maintaining and tracking the Accounts Receivable for the Center. In addition, the program has helped us track, submit and maintain the following activities and information:

• Sliding Fee Tables
• Fee for service billings for counties
• HIPAA Compliance
• Electronic Insurance Claim Submission
• Electronic Statements
• Multiple statistical reports

We have seen a drastic reduction in our AR turnaround from an average of 87 days to 47 days. This alone has significantly improved our Center’s bottom-line and cash-flow status.

The staff of Business Resources, Ltd. is professional and accessible. In the few times we have encountered difficulties, Business Resources has dealt with them within hours of contacting them.

Plains Area Mental Health Center, Inc. staff reviewed five different systems in early 1999. The Mends-ICF Practice Management System was chosen by the Board and Staff as it met and exceeded the program needs we were looking for at the most reasonable price. Since that time, Business Resources has continually advanced the system and provide even greater value for our limited technology budget.
